Project One: A Path from Displacement to Independence
Reaching a place of safety does not automatically give a displaced young person a stable future. Many arrive in Athens without family support, secure housing, financial resources, important documentation, language skills, or a clear path into education and employment. Without the right support during this critical transition, they can face homelessness, isolation, exploitation, and continued uncertainty.
Our first project will help Velos Youth provide young people with practical assistance and personalized guidance as they work toward stability and independence. Support may include essential meals and hygiene facilities, language education, legal and social guidance, counseling, housing assistance, employment preparation, computer access, transportation, and connections to other necessary services. The goal is not simply to meet an immediate need—it is to help each young person develop the confidence, skills, resources, and opportunities required to rebuild their life.
God’s Gift International will work with Velos Youth to identify priority needs, establish clear funding responsibilities, and monitor the project through regular reporting. We will share updates showing how funds are used, what services are delivered, and what measurable outcomes are being achieved. Success will be reflected in young people finding safe accommodation, continuing their education, securing employment, improving their well-being, and moving toward lasting independence.
This is where the mission of God’s Gift begins: helping vulnerable young people move beyond survival and toward a future filled with dignity, stability, purpose, and hope. Support this project by becoming one of our first 1,000 Founding Hearts through the 1 Million Hearts Movement.

We are most excited to share projects that create real, lasting change in the lives of vulnerable children and young people around the world. These include providing safe housing, nutritious food, clean water, clothing, healthcare, education, trauma support, and opportunities for children affected by war, human trafficking, hunger, homelessness, abuse, and neglect.
What makes these projects special is that they are built on trusted partnerships, personal involvement, and responsible stewardship. Before approving an international project for funding, God’s Gift International carefully evaluates the organization and conducts an in-person site assessment. We want our supporters to see exactly who they are helping, how their donations are being used, and what measurable difference each project creates. Our projects will not offer temporary relief alone—they will help restore safety, dignity, independence, and hope for a brighter future.
Making a real difference
Our projects make a real difference by addressing both the immediate needs and long-term futures of children and young people. We help provide essential support such as safe housing, nutritious food, clean water, clothing, healthcare, education, counseling, and trauma-informed care. These resources give vulnerable children the stability they need to heal, grow, learn, and regain hope.
At the same time, our Global Youth Ministry Network empowers young people through faith, leadership development, mentorship, volunteer service, and hands-on humanitarian projects. They are not simply observing change—they are actively helping create it. By combining compassionate assistance with education, personal development, and sustainable opportunities, our projects help young people build confidence, independence, and a path toward a safer and more promising future.

Our hopes and dreams for the future
Our greatest hope is to grow the 1 Million Hearts Movement into a worldwide community of one million compassionate people donating just $3.33 per month. Reaching that goal would generate $3.33 million every month—nearly $40 million annually—before grants, fundraising events, corporate sponsorships, donated goods, and volunteer services are included. Under our transparency promise, at least $31.968 million each year would support charitable programs benefiting vulnerable children and young people.
With that level of support, we could potentially improve the lives of of thousands—and possibly millions—of children every year. We dream of helping create safe homes, quality schools, feeding and clean-water programs, accessible healthcare, trauma-recovery services, and educational and vocational opportunities for children and young people affected by war, human trafficking, hunger, homelessness, abuse, and neglect.
We also hope to expand our Global Youth Ministry Network, empowering even more young people to become leaders of change in their communities and beyond.
